To celebrate the end of another year at SCI-Arc, a bunch of our friends in Stu's class wanted to get together for a Dodgers Game. Melissa set the whole thing up, and since she's a Giants fan, the fact that they won was somewhat ironic. Before heading to the game we had a small tailgate session at her place, then piled into a couple of cars and made our way to the game. All in all it was a lot of fun, and I only wish we could have group outings more often! To see more pictures, click here.

Then over the weekend, Stu's parents came to visit. We had a low-key dinner at Cha Cha Chicken in Santa Monica on Friday night to celebrate their arrival, followed by tea and dessert at their hotel. Saturday, we picked them up and headed to Thousand Oaks for lunch with his mom's uncle, aunt, and cousins from Santa Barbara, at the Cheesecake Factory. Later in the afternoon after shopping we drove around Beverly Hills and Culver City to check out architecture by Rem Koolhaas and Eric Owen Moss. Sunday, they came to us, so we could show them where we live, work, and go to school, as well as the Disney Concert Hall, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, and Caltrans. Sunday night, Perry and Julie joined us for dinner at the Library Alehouse before saying farewell to the Lords. We had such a good time, and only wish they were closer by to spend more time with.
